The NILE is dedicated to the promotion of livestock, agricultural education, and respect for our western tradition.

Each year NILE strives to promote today’s youth through many events and activities – one of the largest is that of the Junior Fed Market Shows. In 2021, over 400 steers, lambs, hogs, and goats entered their respective show vying for the top spots!

Open only to 4-H and FFA members ages 8-18 as of January 1st, 2022, this year we will offer the Junior Fed Market Shows along with Showmanship classes. Showmanship is broken into three divisions – Beginner (ages 8-10 yrs old), Junior (ages 11-13 yrs old), and Senior (ages 14-18). Prizes are given to the winners of each division in each species.

Each exhibitor has the opportunity sell one animal at the Junior Fed Sale of Champions. This year the sale will be on Monday – October 17th, 2022 at 4 p.m. Thank you to all of our 2021 Junior Fed Buyers, we appreciate all that you do to help promote today’s youth!

Please note that all Junior Fed Market entries must have an electronic identification (EID) tag. They do NOT have to be an 840 tag.
