Progeny Pen Parade

The Progeny Pen Parade presented by Cargill, was developed so past NILE Merit Heifer Recipients could bring back their original Merit Heifer along with their progeny (up to 3 head). The purpose of this show is too see the breeding program these past recipients have developed since completion of the NILE Merit Heifer Program. There is no age limit to show in the Progeny Pen Parade - recipients from the very first class of 2003 through the class of 2015 are eligible for the 2016 Progeny Pen Parade!
This is a NON-haltered show and cattle do not need to be clipped, but exhibitors can wash and blow out the livestock if desired. Each recipient will be asked to give a 2-5 minute talk regarding their project and will be judged by a panel of 3 judges. Each recipient will be judged by the following:
- Recipients presentation & ring presence
- Presentation of the cattle - keeping in mind it is a pen show
- Phenotype of the cattle
